Martial Arts For Everyone
Our junior program is designed to develop self-belief, self-discipline and self confidence, as well as giving children the chance to make new friends, deal with challenges and overcome them in a fully supportive environment. For this reason, our adult curriculum is very different to the junior one and we run our classes separately.
We believe that Martial Art is for every child, all children have the chance to earn their Black Belt. We do this through the belt system, a chance for children to set short term goals which lead to the big one, the Black Belt. The confidence that children get from training at MAC is visible, from the children learning the “polite greeting” to the instructing team, to the possibility of standing at the front doing a warm up or demonstrating a technique to the rest of the class. This kind of confidence leads to more self-belief, less chance of being bullied at school and the ability to make the correct decisions regarding their peer groups.
